![]() This is a similar post but it was never resolved with a good answer. Is there a VST or MAX plugin for this? I would rather not spend $240 to buy max and learn to program it for this one feature. Ideally this converter would be capable of switching so that different tracks could have different drum kit mappings for live performance. Ideally it would done without entering the hardware UI because it's cumbersome. I would love to have a note value converter for specific notes such as if note 60 (C4) is pressed then trigger note 84 in Master Drummer while preserving a similar set of rules for each pad. I can't easily change the note value out of the roland as easily as I would like to control different drum kits on Master Drummer (Native Instruments) because each drum kit is different without snares, or any other general type, being mapped consistently to one pad. However, the hardware UI for the Roland is characteristically a pain in the butt. ![]() The pads on the SPD-30 are very good for drumming naturally.
